How much does a dedicated developer cost per month?
US clients pay $800 to $2,500 per developer per month and Australian clients pay A$1,200 to A$3,500. The range reflects seniority and specialisation, not hours. Mid-level full-stack work sits at the low end; senior cloud, data, or blockchain specialists sit at the top.
How quickly can someone start?
Usually one to two weeks to match and onboard. We do a short technical call first so you meet the person before committing, and the first two weeks run as a paid trial on both sides.
Who owns the code the developer writes?
You do, from the first commit. Work happens in your repository under your organisation, so there is no export step and nothing to hand over if the engagement ends.
What happens if the developer is not a good fit?
Say so within the first two weeks and we replace them at no extra cost. After that we ask for two weeks' notice to hand over context and find a replacement.
How do you handle timezones?
We are based in Dhaka, which is four to six hours behind Australia and ten to eleven behind the US east coast. Most teams get three to five hours of live overlap with an Australian team and one to three with a US team. We shift working hours when a project needs more overlap.
Do you sign an NDA and a non-compete?
Yes to the NDA, always, before any code or specification is shared. On non-compete, we work as a silent partner for agencies and will agree not to approach your clients directly for the duration of the contract.
Can we interview the developer before we commit?
Yes, and we would rather you did. We send two or three profiles, you run a technical interview, and you pick. Committing to a monthly retainer without speaking to the person is a bad idea for everyone.
