Deliverables & Scope

  • → User research outputs: interview notes or survey findings, a competitor teardown, and user journeys showing where people currently drop off
  • → Wireframes for every key screen at desktop and mobile widths, reviewed and signed off before any visual design starts
  • → High-fidelity Figma designs with a documented component library, reusable variants, spacing scale and colour and type tokens
  • → A clickable prototype covering the main flows so you can test with real users or show investors before a line of code is written
  • → Developer handoff: annotated specs with pixel dimensions, interaction states, empty and error states, asset exports in SVG and PNG, and a walkthrough call with your build team

Post-Delivery

  • → 30-Day Bug Warranty
  • → Source Files & Ownership

FAQ

UI/UX design FAQs

How much does UI/UX design cost?

Figma design work runs from $1,200 to $8,000 USD, or A$1,800 to A$12,000. That covers research, wireframes, visual design, a prototype and developer handoff. A marketing site with 6 to 8 pages sits at the lower end. A web application with 30 or more screens, a full design system and multiple user roles sits at the top. Fixed price, quoted after we see the scope.

How long does a design project take?

Two to three weeks for a marketing site of 8 pages. Six to ten weeks for a product interface with a design system. Research and wireframing take about a third of that, visual design another third, and the rest goes on prototype testing and handoff. Feedback turnaround from your side is usually what stretches a timeline, so we set two review points a week and ask for consolidated comments.

Who owns the design files and the design system?

You do. The Figma file transfers to your workspace or organisation on completion, including components, variants and styles, so your team can extend the system without us. Fonts and icons keep their original licences, which we flag clearly with links so you know what needs buying. Exported assets are yours to use anywhere with no attribution requirement.

What happens after handoff if developers hit problems?

We stay available for 30 days to answer implementation questions and fix any inconsistency in the specs at no charge. If a developer cannot build a component as drawn, we will redesign it rather than leaving them to improvise. Requests for new screens, a new user flow or a second product area are new work and get quoted. Most clients book a short design support block during the build phase.

Is a redesign going to hurt our brand recognition or conversions?

It can, and that risk is real rather than theoretical. People navigate familiar interfaces from muscle memory, so a full redesign often causes a temporary dip in conversions and support tickets about moved buttons. We mitigate it by keeping proven patterns, changing visual style more than structure, and rolling out behind an A/B test where traffic allows. If your current design converts well, incremental improvement usually beats a rebuild.

Do you hand off to developers, or do you build it too?

Both are available. Plenty of clients come to us with their own development team or an existing agency and just need research, design and clean specs, and that works well. Others want the same studio to design and build, which removes the translation gaps that cause a design to drift during implementation. If we build it, the design and the shipped product match exactly, and there is one party accountable when they do not.
