FAQ
Presentation & pitch deck design FAQs
How much does pitch deck design cost?
$300 to $2,000 USD per deck, or A$450 to A$2,800. Ten slides telling a simple story sits at the bottom. A forty-slide investor or sales deck with custom charts, diagrams and a leave-behind document sits at the top. The number of slides matters less than the number of original diagrams, because those are the slowest part to build well.
Can you write the content as well as design it?
We restructure and edit what you provide, and we will cut slides that weaken the argument. We are not a substitute for knowing your business. For investor decks, the market size, traction and financial projections have to come from you. What we do is tighten the narrative and make sure each slide makes one point that a reader can absorb in five seconds.
What file format do we get?
PowerPoint as the editable master, plus a PDF for sending. We also supply the fonts where licensing allows, or name open alternatives you can install for free. If you use Google Slides or Keynote, tell us at the start, because conversion between these formats shifts layouts, particularly with custom charts and complex diagrams.
How long does a deck take?
Seven to fourteen days for a standard deck, with three to four weeks for something like an investor round with financial modelling. Most of the first week is structure and writing rather than design. Decks that start with design usually end up being redesigned, because the story changes once the slides are laid out and the gaps become visible.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds. Consolidate your team's feedback into one set of comments per round, because revision rounds that arrive slide by slide turn a two-week project into a two-month one. Additional rounds beyond the two are charged hourly, and we will say so before starting them rather than after.
Can you match a template our company already uses?
Yes, and we will work within it if the template is sound. If it is not, we will say so and explain why, usually a problem with type size at projection distance, low contrast, or too many competing accent colours. We can also rebuild the master file so future decks start from a working template rather than a broken one.
Who owns the deck and the design files?
You own the final deck and the editable master outright. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to, which is a normal arrangement and worth agreeing in writing at the start. Source design files in Figma or Illustrator can be included on request.
